Gas strut calculator - how it works?

Wall cabinets in the kitchen do not have to open in a standard way. Hinged doors are convenient and commonly used, but depending on the visual design or layout of the wall cabinets, we can use cabinets that open upwards, commonly called flaps. Doors may be wide or narrow, they also vary in height. The selection of a suitable lifts to the front door is the basis for comfortable use of the furniture.

The basic version of the door support is a gas strut lift. It is easy to install and relatively cheap. Gas struts are also graded depending on power. Stronger ones should be chosen for heavy and large flaps, while smaller ones for small fronts. Determining exactly which lift for which flap is quite difficult, so we have created this simple calculator to give you confidence in the ideal solution.
