8mm/10mm chipboard - fill the gaps with wedges

The most popular sliding door systems on the British market are made for 10mm thick chipboard. As we know - the plates available for sale are 8mm thick, wedges were created to reduce the difference of these 2mm. Back panel wedges are pieces of plastic that are fastened (usually with a hammer) from the back between the chipboard and the aluminum profile
