Empty the drawer completely and remove it from the cabinet. Turn the drawer upside down and place it on a flat, clean work surface. Remove dust and dirt from the joints, as wood glue cannot bond properly to dusty surfaces.

Carefully push the sagging base panel back into the groove of the front and side panels. Alternatively, the bottom can be screwed flush to the underside of the box, although this reduces the usable internal height of the drawer below.
Why does the drawer scrape even though the bottom has been repaired? If the bottom is flat and the drawer still scrapes, the runners are usually worn or their fixing screws have loosened.
