1. System 32 and Hole Spacings

Most kitchen manufacturers construct their carcasses according to System 32. This means the centre-to-centre distance between vertical drill holes is exactly 32 mm. The standard distance from the front edge of the carcass to the centre of the first drill hole is 37 mm. When installing new runners as an alternative to Mepla, you can generally use the existing row of holes in the cabinet to align the carcass profile horizontally.
