A flap that holds its position and closes gently

This gas strut carries the weight of an upward-opening flap through its travel, holds it wherever it is left and damps the last part of the closing movement.

  • Two piston forces: 60 N for lighter fronts and 100 N for heavier or taller flaps.

  • Soft-close damping: The flap settles onto the carcass instead of dropping onto the front edge.

  • Holds anywhere: The strut keeps the flap open at any point in its travel, leaving both hands free.

  • Black finish: A matt black body that disappears against dark cabinet interiors.

How to fit the gas strut

    Match the piston force to the weight and height of the flap; heavier fronts need 100 N.

    Fix the brackets

    Screw the carcass and door brackets at the positions given for the flap height.

    Clip the strut on

    Press the ball ends onto the brackets and check the flap holds and closes softly.
