Installing M6 knock-in T-nuts

    Drill clearance hole

    Drill a hole through the timber component sized to receive the central barrel of the M6 nut.

    Position and hammer

    Insert the barrel from the rear side of the panel and tap it flush with a hammer until the claws embed.

  3. 3
    Drive metric bolt

    Thread an M6 bolt from the opposite side and tighten; the anchored prongs resist rotational force.
