Push one side upwards and the other downwards, and pull the shelf straight forwards and out. With an under-mount runner, reach under the shelf and release the locking catches on the front edge.

2. Clean the runner mechanism

Wipe down both the cabinet profiles fixed inside the unit and the drawer profiles attached to the shelf using a dry cloth. Remove stubborn, resinified grease residue with a little isopropanol. Take care not to bend the ball cage.

3. Check fixings and internal width

Check all screws on the carcase side panel. These are frequently secured into the pre-drilled row of holes (System 32). Tighten loose screws hand-tight. Measure the clear internal width of the cabinet carcase at the front and back. If the cabinet is wider at the back than at the front, the pull-out will tilt. In this case, the runners must be packed out with thin washers (spacers) so that they run precisely parallel.

4. Reapply lubrication

Spray a small amount of PTFE dry lubricant spray into the ball tracks. Never use conventional penetrating oil, as it attracts dust and quickly leads to new blockages. Move the ball cage forwards and backwards several times by hand to distribute the lubricant.

Position the pull-out shelf horizontally against the carcase runners and push it into the cabinet with gentle, even pressure until the mechanism audibly engages. Pull the shelf fully in and out several times. It should now glide without resistance.
