  • Side-to-Side (Lateral): Corrects diagonal tilt and balances the vertical gap between dual doors.
  • Height (Vertical): Raises or lowers the entire door relative to the top and bottom of the carcass.
  • Depth (In/Out): Adjusts the gap between the back face of the door and the front edge of the cabinet frame.

Step-by-Step: How to Adjust Wardrobe Door Hinges

Before you begin to adjust wardrobe door hinges, examine the wardrobe front with the doors closed. Identify where the gaps are uneven or where the doors catch, then work through these adjustments systematically.

1. Correcting Lateral Tilt (Side-to-Side Adjustment)
