- Lateral Adjustment: Moves the door left or right to equalise gaps between adjacent doors.
- Height Adjustment: Moves the door vertically to align top and bottom edges across a run of units.
- Depth Adjustment: Moves the door closer to or further from the carcass face, ensuring the soft-close mechanism engages smoothly without binding.
Fitting New Cabinet Handles
The final step is installing the handles or knobs. Measure centre-to-centre hole spacings accurately (standard sizes include 96 mm, 128 mm, and 160 mm). Always use a drilling template and clamp a scrap piece of timber behind the door face when drilling to avoid surface breakout on the back of the panel.
